BENEFITS OF STAGING
Staging a vacant home is a great way to make your home stand out, maximize the space, help buyers visualize living in the home, and can potentially increase security.
Statistically speaking, staging leads to higher purchase prices.
HELPS YOUR HOME STAND OUT
Most buyers look online for their next home. This means that the photos need to have lasting first impressions, and furniture helps do that!
IT MAXIMIZES THE SPACE & HELPS VISUALIZATION
Buyers sometimes have a very hard time imagining how they would lay out their furniture in the space, especially for a very large or small space. Staging resolves the guess work and helps them visualize their own furniture in the home.
CAN LEAD TO HIGHER OFFERS
Staged homes typically get more attention and have a higher potential for a multiple offer situation. According to the National Association of Realtors Profile of Home Staging, 29 percent of sellers saw an increase of 1-5% in value; 21 percent saw an increase of 8-10% in value; and 5 percent saw an increase of 11-15%.
SECURITY
Furniture in the home comes across as if someone is living there to people looking at photos online. If the property looks occupied, there is less of a chance of someone breaking in.

I am a REALTOR in the greater Sacramento area. As a part of my service to my clients, when I list a vacant home I offer staging with my "Gold Service" package. Staging a vacant home using a company can be expensive and the cost can increase the longer the home stays on the market. I charge for staging within my commission, so there is no up front cost, it is less than what you would pay an outside company, and it won't increase due to more days on market.
I truly believe staged homes sell faster and for more money, which is why I offer it in my "Gold Service" package.
